Tennis might be an individual sport but tennis players share a good bond with each other. Coco Gauff is one such player who has formed a good friendship with several of her cohorts. She is close to Christopher Eubanks, Ben Shelton, and Eubanks’ girlfriend. The group goes out for several activities often. Coco Gauff recently shared an “escape room” activity they did together in Indian Wells.

Ben Shelton also shared a post about the time he spent with his gang, which further showed the bond he has developed with Gauff, Eubank, and Mitchell. However, Gauff’s recollection gave a deeper insight into it.

The 2023 US Open champion is here to make history in the Miami Open and won her opening round clash 6-1, 6-2 in a dominant display of tennis. After her win, she sat down with Tennis Channel to talk about the thrilling escape room experience with her gang: “Okay, so we’ve done two escape rooms, our little group, which is me, Anna, which is Chris’ girlfriend, and Ben. We did one in Melbourne, and definitely Ben was the strongest, I would say that day, which was surprising because we all thought he was going to suck, but he was pretty good, and then we did another one in Indian Wells, and I think me and Anna was the strongest.”

She also said, “Ben was awful that day. And then Chris was okay. So, I think if you do the averages, I would say Chris is the worst on average. Then Ben is hit or miss. So we need to do a third one to see if it was if lightning strikes twice.”

The 22-year-old American star fought hard in the Indian Wells Masters but found himself eliminated by Jannik Sinner in the semifinal. While in town for the tournament, Shelton made sure to create a log of his journey.

Shelton shared a carousel of photos in which fans noticed the three American tennis stars and Eubank’s girlfriend Anna Mitchell posing in a photo with vintage props in a medieval-themed room decorated with stained glass and faux stone walls.

In the photo, Shelton was seen holding a book while Gauff was holding a silver knight’s helmet. Eubank had another prop in his hand while Mitchell was posing with a fake sword.

Along with the images, he also wrote, “coast to coast with the gang IW⏭️MIA.” As fans saw the trio enjoy their day out, they can’t help but be glad that they’ve found friends amongst each other. Since they have formed a bond, we will likely see more moments where they are enjoying the sights of the cities where they play.
