Coco Gauff Flaunts ‘Last Halloween Costume’ in Scenic Cancun as She Draws Inspiration From ‘The Fairy of Waves’

If Coco Gauff had her way, every day would be Halloween! As the 19-year-old is playing her second WTA Finals, she is not focused much on celebrating the festival. But that doesn’t mean that she has not celebrated her favorite holiday at all. She dressed spooky for the first time this season after spending Halloween with her family and heading to Cancun for the year-end championship.
As is evident, even the all-too-important WTA Finals schedule did not deter her from embracing Halloween and dressing up more during the competition. Now that Halloween is over, though, she pulled out her final spooky costume of the season, changing her appearance completely.
Coco Gauff reveals her last Halloween outfit of the season

The third-ranked tennis player is not yet done with her spooky season celebrations. After winning the first round against Ons Jabeur, Gauff took some time off before her second-round competition and dressed up as a fairy to end the festival on a good note. And needless to say, she looked stunning.

Gauff took to her Instagram account to post a series of pictures of herself standing in front of the beach of Cancun, as she looked ravishing in a green dress. Along with that, she wrote, “Aisha the fairy of waves.” Aisha is a crown princess of Andros, also known as the fairy of waves, who was introduced in the second season of The Winx Fairy. Although her green outfit was stunning, her entire appearance was complemented by her purple wings. In addition to that, she also took to her Instagram story to share the same post and stated the reason behind choosing Aisha as her last Halloween outfit inspiration.

The young champ mentioned, “Last Halloween costume of the Year. Childhood favorite.” Nevertheless, just before leaving for the WTA Finals, the 2023 US Open champion also had a pre-Halloween celebration with her family, where she pulled off a different look for herself.
Gauff donned a spooky look for her pre-Halloween celebration
The 19-year-old had a pre-Halloween celebration because she would be busy with the WTA Finals on the eve of Halloween. She dressed as Freddy from “Nightmare on Elm Street,” and her family dressed as their favorite characters. Along with that, she shared a series of eerie but festive pictures on her Instagram and wrote, “Your worst nightmare.”

She chose a bodycon dress in shades of green and red, black boots, and a hat to complete the fantastic ensemble. She also wore artificial hands with long nails, perfectly capturing the essence of her persona. It certainly appeared to have been a pleasant night spent with her loved ones, based on the incredible family photos where everyone was decked up for Halloween.
