After winning the Miami Open and Charleston Open, back to back, in a recent interview with Tennis Channel, the 15th-ranked tennis player revealed her wish regarding how she wants to meet Williams coincidentally in such a way that they could celebrate a karaoke night together, as both of them are much into singing. She stated, “I’m still really hoping, because I know, like I love karaoke and I know Serena really loves karaoke and I’m just dying for a karaoke night at some point with Serena. I really want to make that happen in the future. You know, we both live in Florida so I’m really hoping we’re gonna get a karaoke night one of these days.”

After that, she also shared her go-to karaoke songs, sharing her deep knowledge of her interests. She added, “‘Should’ve Been a Cowboy.’ Yeah I like ‘Should’ve Been a Cowboy’ by Toby Keith, rest in peace. I love that song. Oh, ‘Careless Whisper’ by George Michael, another classic.” In the same conversation, she also opened up about how she has always looked up to both the Williams sisters.

Collins talks about working her ‘tail off’ just like her idol

While talking about how she is just the second American to win consecutive victories at both Maimi and Charleston, the 30-year-old opened up about her admiration for the Williams sisters. She stated, “Serena was my idol. I think the Williams sisters taught all of us it doesn’t matter where you come from, doesn’t matter your background, what you look like, how much money your parents have. If you set your mind to something and you work your tail off, anything’s possible.”
