The 2023 Australian Open champion, Aryna Sabalenka has had a bitter yet sweet week. The Belarusian celebrated her mother’s birthday with an emotional message on her Insta story. However, she also suffered a big loss to Iga Swiatek at the 2023 Stuttgart Open, also known as the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. Adding salt to the wound, the winner of the tournament gets a Porsche, which is Sabalenka’s dream car.

A disappointed Sabalenka remains optimistic and focused on the things that truly matter in life. Through her emotional Instagram story, she reminded her followers that family always comes first. Her heartfelt message shows the strong bond she shares with her loved ones.

Despite her huge loss to Iga Swiatek, Sabalenka shares an emotional Insta story

Aryna Sabalenka had a bittersweet experience during the 2023 Stuttgart Open. She not only lost the title to Iga Swiatek but also the coveted Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo. However, Sabalenka’s week did not end in a bad note. It is, after all, her mother’s birthday today and she posted an emotional message on her Instagram story.

On her Insta story, Sabalenka wrote, “Happy birthday mommy ❤️❤️❤️ @juliya_sabalenka.” She had also reposted her mother’s confident Insta post on her story.

Swiatek enjoyed an incredible win against her rival, Sabalenka

In the final of the Stuttgart Open, Swiatek proved her dominance once again on the tennis court. She defeated Sabalenka in straight sets in the midst of a court full of enthusiastic fans. Despite fans expecting a tight contest, the Pole dominated Sabalenka from the very beginning. Swiatek won the first set 6-3 and the second set 6-4, clinching her second consecutive Stuttgart Open title.
