If Raducanu progresses to the third round, she’ll face the two-time Grand Slam champion and her idol, Simona Halep. It would be challenging to see how Emma Raducanu approaches the former World No.1.
The 18-year-old would face either Petra Kvitova or Victoria Azarenka in the fourth-round contest if she surpasses Halep. Considering she overcomes in the fourth round, Raducanu has a high chance of facing Elina Svitolina of Ukraine in the quarter-finals. Like Raducanu, Svitolina too has been in great form for the last three months. Hence, an enticing clash awaits.
