Former World No. 5 Eugenie Bouchard played amazingly well at the Guadalajara Open 2021. The Canadian star showed some great fighting spirit and ended as the runner-up of the tournament. Even though Bouchard lost the finals in straight sets against Sara Sorribes Tormo, she was able to prove that she still had a lot of tennis left in her.

In a recent interview, Eugenie Bouchard revealed her future goals and ambitions. She believes that she hasn’t played a lot of tennis last year and will certainly look forward to competing a lot more on tour this season. She also claimed that because she missed too many matches, she wasn’t able to get the desired results.

“It’s a long road,” began Bouchard. “I just want to keep trying to play a lot of matches. That’s what’s been lacking for me.”
