‘I Have No Regrets Regarding My Schooling’ – Here’s What American Tennis Star Coco Gauff Had to Say About Her Life

At a fairly young age, Coco Gauff has already made it to the top tier of WTA players. With her usual flair and consistency, the American tennis prodigy has cemented her position in the top 10 rankings. While focusing on climbing the WTA rankings, Gauff had to sacrifice a lot of things, like having a traditional high school experience.

However, it never really had any impact on the 18-year-old who has been pursuing her studies through an online school in Florida. The former world no.4 has no regrets regarding missing traditional schooling in her home city. Here’s what Gauff has to say about the online schooling ‘norm’.

The American tennis player was recently featured in an interview with The Palm Beach Post, in which she detailed her recent performances. Gauff was asked about her feelings towards her home city, Delray. Later, the conversation moved toward the online schooling ‘norm’ in Florida.

While juggling many responsibilities in her home city, the tennis prodigy never really had any traditional high school experience. Taking note of that, she was asked whether she regrets not going to popular high schools like the Atlantic or American Heritage.

The 18-year-old answered by saying, “I have no regrets regarding my schooling with all the friendships I’ve made through traveling. I wouldn’t trade that for anything.”

The former world No. 4 player also revealed that it has become a norm for many tennis athletes to attend online schools in the city. So, the thought of not going to a traditional school never really had an impact on the tennis prodigy.

Gauff also talked about her off-school activities and hobbies

During the same interview, the 18-year-old was about her on and off-court endeavors as she was there in Delray. Ahead of a tour event in Qatar, Gauff said that she will be practicing and training hard on the tennis court. The 2022 Roland Garros finalist also revealed that she loves to hang out with her brothers whenever she has time to spare.

Whether it is her home city or somewhere else, she has often been spotted with her little brothers. When they are together, the Gauff siblings love to involve in fun activities, like showcasing their amazing dance moves. Now that she is in Delray, the rising star of American tennis loves being around home or going out to beaches. Especially when it is too hot in her city, the tennis prodigy likes to be around beaches.
