‘Important to Have Intention in Life’ – Bianca Andreescu Sends an Important Message Ahead of Her Return

21-year-old Canadian tennis star, Bianca Andreescu has been out of the tennis court for about six months. Earlier this year, she missed the Australian Open, as she was recovering from her mental health concerns. Now, she is finally ready to make her comeback on the tour. Ahead of her return, she decided to do a Q&A session on social media, where the Canadian tennis player shared an important message for all her fans.

On Instagram, the 2019 US Open champion, Andreescu, started a question-and-answer session with her fans. During this session, she answered many questions from her fans. She talked about feeling happy, as she’s back competing again. Also, the tennis player spoke about her goals for 2022, eating habits after matches, her favorite playlist, and many more.

One of her fans asked, “How did you start to push yourself to be where you’re at today?”

In reply, the tennis player wrote, “I do my best to have a growth mindset in every situation. Always look for the good in things. It’s important to have intention in life and every time I remember my goals/ purpose it drives me to wake up in the morning.”

Andreescu accepts Stuttgart Open wildcard

Earlier in the summer, Andreescu announced on Twitter that she will miss the Australian Open, as she was mentally not well from the pandemic. Later, we saw her holidaying while trying to recover from mental health issues. A few weeks back, she posted a photo on her Instagram while training at the Rafa Nadal Academy, possibly hinting at a comeback on the clay court.

Meanwhile, with her current WTA ranking (120), it will be tough for her to get a direct entry into tournaments and Grand Slam events. She needs to rely on wild cards to get an entry. However, according to recent reports, we could see her play at Roland Garros with a protected ranking, due to her injury. 

The young Canadian is all set to make a return on clay in Stuttgart after accepting a wild card. The main draw of the Stuttgart Open gets underway on April 18.
