In a recent statement, Venus explained how Serena Williams influenced her decision to return to court. She said, “My little sister Serena told me I’m not allowed to quit and of course I would never quit but it’s a mandate! She said no, so I will be back on the court.” Thankfully for her and her fans, she managed to gain the wild card in the championship and go out on a high note.
