Over the years, she has enthralled fans across the globe, notching up eye-catching displays on the court. Additionally, she has been at the top of her game for over 20 years, which is a remarkable feat.

Serena has had many defining moments in her career, from winning her maiden Grand Slam title in 1999 to coming close to winning a Calendar Year Grand Slam in 2015. Further, one such moment came in 2017 when she tied the knot with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. The two share a strong bond and often share glimpses of time spent together. Recently, Alexis received a sweet surprise.

Serena delivers a strong speech at the Black Tech Week

Earlier this month, the former World Number 1 made an appearance at the Black Tech Week in Cincinnati as a keynote speaker. She delivered a strong message in her speech. Talking about eliminating discrimination from society, Serena said, “I think the only way to change that is to have people that look like me … that look like you guys to be writing the big checks.” Apart from her achievements on the tennis court, Serena has founded successful companies like Serena Ventures and S by Serena.
