This is nothing short of winning a grand slam in itself for the Polish player. She expressed her joy at breaking the record of 23-time-grand slam winner, Serena Williams. This has proved as a moral booster for the incumbent world no. 1.

Iga Swiatek rose to the top with her consistent and strong gameplay on the court. The world no. 1 has expressed her joy in breaking the winning streak record of Serena Williams. Serena Williams had 34-match winning streak.

Iga Swiatek broke her record by winning the finals in the French Open 2022 by defeating the American player Coco Gauff. She feels delighted by her achievement. The Polish player told her intentions and said, “Honestly, it wasn’t my target. I felt like I don’t have full control over doing that, so I really didn’t want it to be my goal. But after the match, I checked.”
