The final game went the way of Caroline Wozniacki
Caroline had her final match scheduled against her best friend Serena Williams in May 2020. However, owing to the global pandemic, she had to reschedule the game. Serena is currently on the sidelines, which paved way for her good friend, Angelique Kerber to replace the American.
Though the game was an exhibition match, fans gathered in great numbers to support the Danish star. Caroline and Angelique fought neck-to-neck till the 11th game when Wozniacki finally broke the German’s serve to win the opening set 7-5.

Caroline was emotional during the ‘on-court’ interview. She said that it was a fun game for her and her close friend made the night special. Caroline took to social media as she twitted her thanks for the love and support she received throughout her journey on the tour
