She made a comeback at Eastbourne International, playing in doubles with Ons Jabeur. Subsequently, she received a wildcard entry to participate in the Wimbledon Championships. Sharing a story on her official Instagram handle, she posted a picture of the hard court that her husband had built to help his wife to practice, especially during the lockdown. Reacting to a fan’s tweet about this, Alexis said, “Yes. Official US Open surface, too!”

Serena was seen in an intense practice session here. She is determined to put up a good show in the upcoming hard-court tournaments after a disappointing Wimbledon campaign.
