“My firm, Serena Ventures, invests in early-stage entrepreneurs who often pitch us with just a vision,” Williams said. “When thinking through what role I wanted to play as an investor, funding early-stage ventures was a no-brainer. I look to support the dreamers and the visionaries of the future, while giving them the opportunity to capitalize on their genius.”

Serena’s 2021 tennis season
Tennis-wise, Serena had a disappointing 2021 season. Although she started impressively, reaching the Australian Open semifinals, she couldn’t continue that form.

Accordingly, the tennis queen registered a 12-5 win-loss record, including a French Open R4 loss. Following this, Serena looked confident for Wimbledon but had to retire from her first match due to an unfortunate injury.
