Serbia’s Ana Ivanovic showcased her prowess in tennis many a time. She retired from the sport in 2016, ending her career with 15 titles to her name. Since then, she has worked in many ventures. But all of them are about to be second fiddle to her, as there are rumors of a return to her older self. The ex-tennis pro’s activity on social media is sending fans into a frenzy sparking speculations on a possible comeback, similar to Caroline Wozniacki

Before Ivanovic, a WTA star did return to the sport this year. Wozniacki retired from tennis in 2019 but found it irresistible to stay off the court. She returned to the sport this year and will continue to play as much as she can.

When she won the 2008 French Open, Ana Ivanovic became the favorite of many. The 36-year-old player could not recreate the feat, but she lived largely in the hearts of many fans. She eventually hung up the racket in 2016, with the Roland Garros arranging a ceremony for her send-off.

From the looks of it, the Serbian star missed the sport and could not stay away from it for too long as she has teased a possible return. She shared a carousel of two pictures of her on a clay court. She is posing in one picture and taking a shot in another one. The veteran also shared the caption, “It’s more than just a sport… 🎾 #tennis“.
