“Hi, everyone. I wanna say thank you to you guys and I hope you could enjoy my tennis. I’m thrilled to win. Love you all, see you,” said Raducanu in the message.
Fans are quite aware that even though Raducanu is a British citizen, she has connections with China since her mother hails from Shenyang, a province in China. It is because of this reason that she has such a strong command over Mandarin. In the message, the young prodigy thanked all her fans for their continuous support throughout the US Open 2021.

It is for the first time that a qualifier has gone on to win a Grand Slam in the history of tennis. Raducanu played some incredible tennis in New York for about three weeks and won 20 sets in a row. Interestingly, none of her sets even went into a tie-breaker.
She is the youngest to win a Grand Slam title since Maria Sharapova won the Wimbledon Championships 2004 title. She was just 17-years-old during that time while Raducanu is 18-years-old at the moment. Her rankings have also shot up as she is now the World No.23 player in the world. Before the start of the Grand Slam, she ranked 150th in the world.
