American tennis star Sloane Stephens has been one of the best players on the tour over the past decade. The former world number 3 made her mark by winning the 2017 US open. However, she has had a mixed run ever since, and recently she reached the quarterfinals of Roland Garros 2022.

Like many top athletes, Stephens has faced online abuses and threats quite a number of times. Also, the 29-year-old has been vocal about the same. Recently, she got an opportunity to launch the White House task force to reduce online abuse.

Sloane Stephens shares pictures from her visit to the White House

Recently, 29-year-old revealed that she got over 2000 messages of abuse after a Grand Slam loss. The former US Open champion flaunted a beautiful pink dress paired with heels of the same color.

Sharing a story from her visit on Instagram, she wrote, “Y’all see the outfit. Didn’t come to play. We came to slay.”

She also tweeted a few pictures from her meeting with the Vice President of America, Kamala Harris and captioned it, “It was my truly pleasure to have introduced Madam Vice President as she launched the White House Task Force to Address Online Harassment and Abuse today!”

Stephens starts her preparation for Wimbledon

The former US Open champion has had an average year so far. Although the 29-year-old won the Mexican Open title in Guadalajara and made it to the quarterfinal of the French Open 2022, she has not looked at her best.

Further, in order to prepare for the upcoming Wimbledon Championship, Stephens is in Germany for the WTA 250 Bad Homburg Open.
