It is reported that the higher-ups at WWE are particularly happy with Bayley‘s contribution to the company. They have reported a significantly improved in-ring presence, especially following their pandemic-era shows. Apart from that, they are happy with her mic skills and the occasional managerial roles she has taken backstage.

It is also reported that her coworkers are also happy to work with Bayley. Her presence backstage is very much appreciated by the people on the roster and also by other working staff. Hence, her new, multi-year contract is not a big surprise for many.

Fans are aware that Banks decided to walk out of WWE in July of 2022. The decision was made by The Boss along with Naomi after the two stated that they had faced creative differences at the company. While Naomi is heavily rumored to return to WWE, fans cannot say the same for Banks. Banks is reported to be in talks with AEW. While there were reports that the talks have closed, some suggest that a WWE return may still be on the cards for her.

The rumors of her joining AEW started spreading like wildfire in August 2023. It was reported that she was in talks with AEW. However, as December came, it was reported that the talks had simmered down and a WWE return could be on the horizon. It was later revealed that a WWE return might also be difficult for Banks as the star had asked for a hike similar to that of Charlotte Flair.

Flair is currently the highest-paid woman superstar in the history of WWE. It is rumored that maybe because of this demand, WWE has decided to close talks with Sasha Banks. But fans should not forget that WWE pulled the same trick before CM Punk’s return. So, there still might be some hope for fans. What do you think about the tug-of-war currently happening over Banks? Will she eventually get her hike with WWE, or will she join AEW?
