Beth Phoenix Drops a 5-Word Message on Edge’s Future as Rumors of Him Signing for AEW Trend Globally

August 18th, 2023 was a very special day for most WWE fans around the world. It was the 25th-anniversary celebration of one of the most celebrated superstars in the WWE, ‘The Rated R Superstar’ Edge. The Toronto event was a complete sellout going to show how much fans really wanted to be part of this epic celebration.

And on this special occasion, his better half Beth Phoenix expressed her admiration for her husband while also talking about his future endeavors.

25 years is a long time in anyone’s career. Sticking to one job for 25 years shows how much you love being part of that business. And it goes without saying that Edge loved every moment he spent in WWE.

Edge made his debut at one of the biggest venues in the world, Madison Square Garden on 22nd June 1998. Little did he know back then that 25 years later, he would become a legend in the same business. The 25th anniversary celebration was filled with heartfelt messages from John Cena, The Miz, Steve Austin, and even the ‘The Deadman’ The Undertaker.

The next day, Edge’s wife Beth Phoenix took to Instagram to express her joy and admiration for Edge’s epic journey in the WWE. She said, “What a night. #edge25 and @percyseries releases the official trailer revealing Adam as Ares the God of War!  While it was amazing to honor the past, the future is so bright. Happy tears for the places you’ve been and the destinations ahead!”

And rightly said ‘The Rated R Superstar’ has so much greatness left to achieve. In fact there have been rumors of Edge going to AEW after his WWE stint and probably get into a story with his old tag team partner Christain.

Phoenix also mentioned Edge’s character reveal as a Greek God in a series that fans have been eagerly awaiting.

Edge has already made his acting debut in 2011 in the series Haven. Post that he played the role of the Atom Smasher in the superhit series The Flash.

Then he was part of the series Vikings from 2017 to 2020. And on the day of his 25th Anniversary, Disney+ released the official trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians revealing Edge as Ares, the God of War. The series releases on 20th December 2023.

His reveal was quite quick where he was shown having a huge sword in his hand, obviously because he is the Greek God Of War. His fans will be pretty excited for this series and Edge’s part in it in general. What do you guys think about Beth Phoenix’s emotional tribute to her husband?
