The signing of Sasha Banks by AEW has created a gigantic wave of enthusiasm in AEW and the pro-wrestling world. This was one of the three major signings of AEW recently. The other two major draws Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay have also made the internet erupt with cheers. However, while one may think that Triple H missed a big opportunity and let go of three big stars the WWE Universe doesn’t believe so.

Triple H has been making the best decisions as a completely autonomous creative head for WWE. So far, his direction has benefitted the WWE ratings and also created a positive locker room atmosphere. Many fans highly praised The Game for signing Jade Cargill from AEW. But, letting go of The Boss has not brought him criticism either. Instead, these 3 big signings seem to have turned into another topic of ridicule for Tony Khan‘s AEW.

The discussion was based on whether WWE did the right thing or not. A Reddit user took to the platform to discuss with other fans what they think about the ongoing backlash reported in the news. Fans had previously criticized Triple H and his role in the release of several WWE superstars.

This also included Dolph Ziggler who was a celebrated veteran of the company. This time, however, fans used their analytical eye and upheld his decision. It was highly rumored that Mercedes Mone will resume as Sasha Banks in WWE. Rumors of Okada joining Shinsuke Nakamura were prevalent online. Well, this could have resulted in a major boost for WWE. However, The Game and his team did not feel that the dividends outweighed the risks.

Otherwise, Triple H, Eric Bischoff and many others were against signing CM Punk at one point as well. But when the positives outweighed the negatives, Triple H was flexible enough to bring back Punk. Because of all these things the WWE Universe has full faith in HHH. In fact, the Reddit post didn’t just see fans backing Triple H but also citing these signings as bad for AEW.

Fans backlash at Tony Khan’s decision

After this Reddit post was up fans were quick enough to support  Triple H. But many did criticise AEW and Tony Khan’s decision. One user showed his frustration by stating how AEW signs older stars and forgets about the new talent. The fans seemed concerned for the younger stars on how they have to end up signing low-money deals.
