The biggest showdown is on this Tuesday. And no it is not in between Carmello Hayes and Bron Breaker. It is between AEW and WWE. For the first time, both promotions will be broadcasting their shows on the same day at the same time. WWE NXT will aired on USA Network while AEW Dynamite on TBS Network. As the events are on the horizon, Tony Khan is gearing up for the competition by launching a spam attack on social media.

Tony Khan’s launches tirade of attacks against WWE in lieu of Tuesday Night War

For the upcoming Title Tuesday, Tony Khan took digital marketing to new heights. He used X (former Twitter) in the best way possible. He had posted several spam posts on social media promoting AEW. It specifically describes why fans should watch The Title Tuesday and why is it better. It also includes some tweets which are random gifs with the caption declaring the time and broadcast network of the show. He even called out Vince McMahon while simultaneously roasting a fan to garner some publicity for his show.

In the late hours of October 9, 2023, Khan made a public announcement that just like NXT, AEW Dynamite will be break-free for the first 30 mins. These marketing tweets took shots at WWE in this particular week. Tony Khan’s promotion made the decision to broadcast AEW Dynamite on Tuesday just for this week. AEW made this decision as TBS have decided to broadcast Major League Baseball playoffs on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 8 p.m. One more factor that also influenced the decision to make Title Tuesday of AEW Dynamite break free for the first thirty minutes.

Apart from John Cena and Cody Rhodes, several other high-profile stars will be making an appearance on NXT this week. But Khan has already made a title card which is worth the attention. 

AEW has a trump card in their possession

Even though WWE has quite a few names lined up to make an appearance on NXT, AEW has kept its cards ready. First of Edge will be making his official in-ring debut at AEW. He goes by his real-life name Adam Copeland and will face Luchasaurus to further their feud. Also, it won’t be a Title Tuesday without some titles on the line. Bryan Danielson will be facing off against Swerve Strickland for the AEW TNT Championship. 

Next, Fenix will be defending his AEW International Championship against Jon Moxley. Fans will also get to see Hikaru Shida trying to get the AEW Women’s World Championship title from Saraya. There will also be a ‘Buy In’ match. In that, Eddie Kingston will be defending his ROH World and NJPW Strong Open Weight Champion title from Minoru Suzuki. According to Tony Khan, this Buy-In show will air completely freely on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook from 7:30 PM EST. The complete Title Tuesday won’t be streamed on those platforms.
