“Honest to God Truth” – Matt Hardy Reveals What Happened Between WWE and Jeff Hardy

WWE recently fired former WWE superstar Jeff Hardy because he refused to check into rehab. However, it doesn’t look like Jeff Hardy will be out of action for long, as his older brother Matt Hardy recently teased an in-ring return of The Hardy Boyz.
The question here is why did WWE let go of Jeff, even though he recently claimed on the Broken Skull Session podcast that he was sober and healthy. Matt Hardy recently confessed that his younger brother didn’t need to get into rehab as he was not doing so bad.
In the latest development, it looks like Matt and Jeff soon will team up to reunite the Hardy Boyz in AEW and preferably take down the tag team division over there.

“Everyone knows I am the ring general. Matt Hardy was the brains behind the ‘Hardy Boyz’. Whenever I looked at Jeff [Hardy] and said, ‘do the whisper in the wind. Do the Swanton Bomb. Or do the poetry in motion’. He trusted my judgement… Matt was the architect of the Hardy Boyz,” he said.
Eventually, it looks like Jeff will make his debut in AEW after his 90-day non-compete clause. This means that the two veteran brothers of the pro wrestling industry might get back together in AEW.
Did WWE make a mistake?
Speaking on ‘House Hardy’, Matt Hardy also confessed that Jeff Hardy is alright, and he didn’t need to go to rehab.
“(WWE) may have jumped the gun with this a little bit, they made a decision & it is what it is
Jeff did say he wasnt going to go to rehabilitation because he didnt feel he needed to. & I don't think he did either. That's the honest to God truth"

Back in WWE, the fans thought this was the last run of the former WWE champ and they wanted them to have a run with a major championship before retiring; however, WWE is now done with him.
The fans, though, might still witness one true championship run for Jeff Hardy and see him add another feather on his cap, however that will not happen in WWE.
