Since the release of the Bray Wyatt documentary Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal, the WWE has teased the return of the Uncle Howdy character. Introduced by Wyatt, the character was to be played by his brother, Bo Dallas. While plans were halted due to Wyatt’s passing, the WWE plans to return the character. The company hinted at his imminent return using cryptic QR codes and glitches.
However, after an episode of RAW that saw the first QR Code flash on the screen, Matt posted the same segment. Social media was in a feeding frenzy, speculating that the Hardy Boy was hinting at his return to the company. This resulted in fans believing he would return as Broken Matt and team up with the mysterious Uncle Howdy. However, nothing is yet confirmed.
