Over the past few years, Tony Khan has come under fire from various personalities within the wrestling community. Eric Bischoff is one figure who has actively expressed his opinions on AEW’s product and Khan’s decisions. By frequently being critical of the company.

Bischoff has become one of the biggest detractors of All Elite Wrestling. Criticizing them either for the management of the company, for the matches it offers, or for any other aspect that has to do with the world of professional wrestling. And now he has come after the AEW head honcho again and revealed how he believes Khan is not a good leader.

For years now, Tony Khan and Eric Bischoff have had a very bitter public relationship. On several occasions, they have openly insulted each other. This time, in a recent episode of his 83 weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff took a shot at Tony Khan for not being a good leader. Taking CM Punk’s latest interview with Ariel Helwani as an example where Punk too criticized the AEW President, Bischoff said, “So I don’t really know what he’s like backstage, but if you look at the patterns, dot, dot, dot connect the dots, there’s a picture pattern at least of everything that we’ve seen for the last year, two years, three years. I’ve all indicated that Tony just is not a leader. How many times have I said it on this show and upset you or been put in my place? Sometimes appropriately so. But it’s just obvious when you see how the lack of leadership manifests on a regular basis.”

He further added, “And there’s a lot of chatter that, you know, we don’t talk about here. I don’t talk. I don’t even bring it up because we all know people that work in close proximity. So in cases inside AEW. So we all know kind of what’s going on, or at least we were told what’s going on backstage. There’s an impression that one has just if you know people that know somebody. But you also look at, like I say, some of the things that we’ve seen over the last couple of years. The Punk situation is probably the most obvious. That’s lack of leadership. I talked about it on 83 weeks. I talked about it in strictly business.”

Well, it looks like the WWE legend does not hold back when it comes to the AEW President. But neither does Khan, who is often quick to clap back at the legend. As he did a few days back.

Recently, Jon Alba, who works with Eric Bischoff on the Strictly Business podcast, announced that the show will be coming to an end soon. And it is due to Bischoff not having much time. Possibly due to unannounced projects. Following this news, Tony Khan posted a message on his X account stating that it was the best decision. And that he was happy that the show edged closer to its end. He tweeted, “Sunsetting this fraud of a business podcast before the next AEW media deal is a wise choice.”

And while All Elite Wrestling is undoubtedly at an exciting stage in its history. With a roster greatly enriched in recent weeks with the arrivals of Will Ospreay, Kazuchika Okada, and Mercedes Moné. Bischoff felt like reminding Tony Khan that not all that glitters is gold. As he clapped back at Khan’s tweet in his own way. He tweeted back, “A money mark with no talent other than spending daddy’s money, going all the way to Canada to draw less than 4k in one of the hottest pro wrestling markets in North America, talking about ‘wise choices’? Strap in. It’s going to be a fun day!”
