Matt Cardona Shows off Battle Scars Following Insane Deathmatch Against Nick Gage in GCW

Former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona went through hell a few days ago when he faced GCW World Champion Nick Gage at the GCW Homecoming event.

Matt brought his A-game to end Nick Gage’s title reign. Therefore, the match ended up being a gruesome one as Matt and Gage tried to inflict further torment on each other. As a result, Matt ended up covered in blood as the former WWE US Champion was cut open when Gage hit him with a light tube.

The fans in the arena certainly weren’t prepared for a title change, and when it happened, they just went deranged. The audience started throwing trash at Matt Cardona, who was taunting them by showing off his World Championship Title.

After the match, Chelsea Green, the fiance of Matt Cardona, shared some horrifying images of Matt, who was battered because of the match.

Cardona also shared an image on his Instagram account where he is seen holding the GCW World Championship with a bloodied arm. He captioned the post by proclaiming himself as the king of the Deathmatch.

Wrestling fans from all over the world were stunned to see a bloodied Cardona, and his match with Nick Gage ended up being the latest fuss in the wrestling industry.

Cardona reacts to being the Champion of GCW

After the match ended, Cardona cut an ambitious promo as he claimed to be the new face of GCW. The former AEW Superstar admitted that he feared the violence that Nick Gage would inflict upon him, but he never doubted himself to get over the line.

Matt said- “Did you really think I was scared of Nick Gage? Of course I was afraid of the violence, but I wasn’t afraid of the destruction that would happen in that ring. Look at my body. I’m covered in blood, I’m scarred up, but it was all worth it because I am the GCW F***ing World champion!”

The fans of GCW will now be eagerly waiting to watch the title reign of Matt. Unfortunately, Matt Cardona is currently on a trip to Disney land with his fiance Chelsea Green.

After all that Matt has gone through on the night of the GCW Homecoming show, Matt certainly deserves a break so that he can come back much more robust and kickstart his GCW title reign.
