Jon Moxley made his long-awaited return to AEW this week on Dynamite at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, DC. The former AEW World Champion had taken a hiatus in November 2021 to deal with some personal demons.

Back when Moxley announced this decision, multiple people across the world supported his decision.

However, his wife, Renee Paquette, was the one who supported him the most. Interestingly, Renee recently revealed an interesting story about she got close to Moxley back when they worked together in WWE.

Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast, ‘Sessions With Renee Paquette‘, the former WWE broadcaster revealed she asked WWE legend Summer Rae before moving forward with Jon.

Rae was the special guest in Renee’s latest episode on her podcast. The two ladies discussed everything from wrestling and eventually, Renee shared an interesting memory she had with Jon Moxley, Roman Reigns, and Summer Rae.

Renee told that she along with Jon, Roman and Rae went to a bar in Cincinnati and it was then that Renee asked Rae whether she was dating either of The Shield’s members.

“We went to this bar and we were like doing it Jon [Moxley] and I were doing like the Dirty Dancing. And I remember asking you [Summer Rae] I was like ‘you’re not like seeing one of them.”

What is next for Jon Moxley?

The former WWE champion turned the wrestling world upside down when he surprised everyone with his AEW debut. However, with more passing time, Moxley has become just another superstar in AEW.

Now, there’s no denying that AEW has a talented roster but when it comes to using everyone’s bit, Tony Khan goes through a lot of brainstorming.

Now, with newfound life and momentum, AEW can book Moxley in the main event picture and give the crowd feuds between Punk and Moxley.

During his run in AEW, Moxley is shown as a senseless wrestler who has no regard for his body. However, long-term booking with Bryan Danielson, CM Punk can change that.
