It’s only been a day but fans are still shocked with the bombshell news of superstar CM Punk getting fired from AEW. Just like WWE’s Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar, Punk was AEW’s star performer and fans were left dumbstruck by his sudden dismissal. And to make matters worse, Punk is being wiped out from the AEW as we speak.

Ever since Punk’s erasure from AEW, fans have been vocal about Tony Khan’s treatment of the AEW World Champion. They believe that Punk helped build AEW and deserves a much better send-off.

On Saturday, AEW put out a statement about terminating all agreements with CM Punk after a week-long investigation into the altercation. CEO Tony Khan was even booed by Punk’s hometown crowd of Chicago right before the start of Collision.

Quick to move on, AEW has already replaced Punk’s face with another, relatively unknown, performer. He has been replaced by Jay White, who is currently the leader of the Bullet Club Gold. With Punk having headlined the show for the last few months, this has fans understandably upset.

Equally quick to respond, fans took to social media to voice their opinions on the perceived disrespect against Punk.
