Sami Zayn Hilariously Taunts Edge Following His AEW Debut Days After Working Together For a Noble Cause

Edge had his last WWE match in August against Sheamus on SmackDown that aired from Toronto. He left WWE post that as his contract expired and now became All-Elite at AEW WrestleDream. Many expected this might happen and many did not. However, Sami Zayn who was using Edge’s last attire in WWE for a good cause made a hilarious comment on his AEW debut.

Zayn shared a straightforward five-word message for ‘The Rated R Superstar’ after his All-Elite debut.

Edge’s last match was a celebration of his illustrious career in WWE. Hence, he wore a custom-made white attire for his match against Sheamus on SmackDown. A few days after the match, Sami Zayn put the attire for auction, with all proceedings going to his Sami for Syria.

As the ‘Ultimate Opportunist’ debuted in AEW at WrestleDream PPV, Zayn took to Twitter to share his thoughts. He re-tweeted the auction tweet and wrote a hilarious five-word message for Edge’s AEW debut. 

The former ‘Honorary Uce’ wrote, “Yeah, should probably bump this.”, following retweeting his previous tweet of auctioning Edge’s last match gear.

Clearly, this was hilariously shared by the former three-time Intercontinental Champion. Probably, this is the way Zayn wants to congratulate Edge for his new chapter in AEW after he is done with WWE for now.

Nevertheless, as Edge has come into the AEW limelight now, his WWE gear might increase its value. This will help Zayn raise funds for Sami for Syria and help countless people in Syria. 

The WWE Hall of Famer debuted after the match between his friend Christian Cage and Darby Allin. Several enticing matchups await Edge, but it seems his primary focus will be having a program with Christian Cage one last time. Wrestling fans also received some delightful news as Tony Khan confirmed the frequency of Edge’s appearance in AEW programming.

The Ultimate Opportunist debuted with his WWE entrance music. The wrestling world will hear and feel this every week, as Tony Khan confirmed Edge will be a full-timer.

After the PPV at the press conference, the AEW boss shared the WWE legend has signed a full-time contract. This means we can see Edge wrestle every week or have a segment on weekly shows.
