WWE and AEW have always been operating with a highly competitive spirit. Ever since Tony Khan’s AEW hit the wrestling world, the biggest promotion in the world got a reason to keep their sky-high confidence in check. But recently top AEW star Kenny Omega recognizes WWE’s iconic storyline, which is a rare occurrence between two rival promotions.

Even before All Elite Wrestling existed, a group of top stars comprising Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), and Hangman Page started to tell a story of friendship, betrayal, and everything in between with the name of The Elite. Currently, rising AEW star Konosuke Takeshita has joined the group as an honorary member.

On the latest episode of Being The Elite, Matt Jackson tried to give a summary of The Elite’s long-time saga to the new member, Takeshita. After his apparent disinterest in the conversation, Matt walked away. Shortly after, Nick Jackson interrupted labeling The Elite’s storyline as the best in history.

Takeshita opposed him by saying, “It’s okay. Bloodline much better,” In the later part of the show, Nick told Omega about Takeshita’s unexpected claim, only to get a more unexpected reply from ‘The Cleaner’.
