The boxing world was quite thrilled when it was announced that Jake Paul would be taking on his former sparring partner Hasim Rahman Jr. But the much-awaited clash was canceled just a week before the scheduled event. The matter has refused to die down, as Logan Paul recently tweeted about the match that never happened. Rahman Jr also responded to his accusations and seemingly called out the WWE superstar for a showdown.

The Maverick was responding to a tweet that questioned the age of Jake Paul’s opponents. He posted, “Jake tried to fight two boxers this year on separate occasions (Tommy Fury, 23 years old, 8-0, AND Hasim Rahman JR, 31-year-old, 12-1) and they BOTH BACKED OUT. A combat legend was the only one willing to take the challenge. Shut the f**k up.“

Hasim Rahman Jr isn’t one to stay quiet and was quick to hit back, “I didn’t back out, your brother canceled the fight. But you and I weigh the same thing, stay on hush mode like you do when we in person. Mf goes {Saluting face Emoji} when he see me after saying it’s on sight, then gets in front of {camera emoji} and pop shit. You more of a b*tch then your brother“.

Jake Paul and Rahman Jr share a past

The two have trained together previously and held a joint sparring session. The Problem Child even went on to praise the intensity of their sessions together.

However, the two were far from being mates as they had a heated altercation once during training. Paul had previously shared a video of both exchanging strong words and being ready to pounce on each other.
