“Listen Up Dwayne Johnson..” – John Cena Once Countered His Frenemy’s Threat With Textbook Mockery on National Television

Dwayne Johnson paved a way for WWE stars to become Hollywood actors and many have chosen the same recently. However, a few years back, John Cena slammed The Rock for choosing an acting career over WWE.

Nevertheless, the WWE icons later came on the same page after Cena himself transitioned into an actor. But did you know DJ took a shot at him on live TV?

A few years ago, John Cena appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live where the host read the list of unusual threats The Rock had laid for him. It shocked Cena and he replied by pronouncing Johnson’s name in a funny tone and claimed he doesn’t like the pronunciation of his name.

The 16-time world champion said, “Listen up Dwayne Johnson, if that is your real name— If you’re making threats to me by thinking of shoving a toothbrush up in my butt, is a threat? I got some advice for you pal. With my pal, I totally mean my best friend. I don’t mean by the adversarial term.”

He added, “Watch blockers and then watch it again because if you think shoving a toothbrush up my butt is a threat! You got news coming pal. There’s been a funnel up there, there’s been a parking code. There’s more traffic in there that region than on a Monday at 4:05 in both directions.”

This unusually friendly threat from ‘The Great One’ in his iconic ‘The Rock’ style clearly confused Cena. They had fought at two WrestleMania before Johnson made these funny threats to John Cena.

John Cena made some special requests to Dwayne Johnson to fulfilling his threats

The Brahma Bull indeed made a funny threat to The Cenation Leader. However, Cena was even funnier as he called out DJ to fulfill his threat with some special requests.

Cena said he is ready to give this job to DJ to complete his funny threat. Moreover, Cena had some special instructions for The Rock if he was going to use the toothbrush as he said he would.

Cena further adds, “But if I was you, I’d bring a body suit and latex gloves because down there it’s like a Mississippi Cornfield in a downpour. No, no, no, it is all mud and vegetation, pal. So the question I have for you to T Herock is- Do you really wanna smell what John Cena is putting out?”

Clearly, after Cena and Johnson resolve their beef, they both have a funny relationship between them. John Cena even followed in DJ’s footsteps and is on the line to becoming a major Hollywood star.
