The pro wrestling world is currently talking about Zac Efron and AEW World Champion MJF starrer ‘The Iron Claw’. However, the Von Erich Family movie will soon get a new counterpart with Dwayne Johnson acting in the new venture. But, instead of pro wrestling, The Rock would venture into MMA territory for his latest project.

Dwayne Johnson is all set to play the role of iconic UFC fighter Mark Kerr in an upcoming project named ‘The Smashing Machine’. While The Rock has already been chosen to play the MMA protagonist, the hunt is on for an actress to work as his opposite. The Halle ‘Catwoman’ Berry doesn’t just match the physical profile but also has the versatility to perfectly blend herself with any character. She has already shown her shapeshifting skills in the biographical drama series ‘Introducing Dorothy Dandridge’, and has also shown her action prowess in X-Men.

While Berry is a great pick for the role, an actor who has more experience and chemistry with Dwayne Johnson could also be considered for the role. And a good fit for this would be Wonder Woman Gal Gadot.

Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson to become king and queen after bishops?

Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot blew everyone’s mind with their characters in the movie Red Notice. The movie which also starred Ryan Reynolds saw Johnson and Gadot work in perfect sync while having the audience fooled till the end. While Gadot slayed with her character as The Bishop, Dwayne Johnson made full use of his on-screen stereotype.

While both actors have already worked in the Fast and the Furious franchise, their impact in Red Notice was harder. Gadot is also highly versatile and adaptable, and the audience would love to see her opposite Dwayne Johnson.
