16-Time World Champion Ric Flair Looks Like a Child Next to Over 7 Foot Tall WWE Legend

The Nature Body Ric Flair is an idol of many pro-wrestlers in the business. In a career that spans almost 40 years, Flair has done it all and seen it all. He has wrestled all over the world in multiple promotions and has won multiple world championships which include NWA, WWE, and WCW.

While his time wrestling outside WWE in other promotions, Ric Flair had matches with many pro-wrestlers. One of them is WWE legend André the Giant with whom Flair got a chance to have matches with in the 80s.

Recently, Ric Flair replied to AEW star Miro as he asked The Nature Boy about him working with André the Giant. Ric Flair replied to Miro through his Twitter account. Also, he shared a picture of him and Andre from a show they were part of back in the day.

In the tweet Flair said, “AEW Star, The Mighty @ToBeMiro Inquired Whether All The Stories About Andre The Giant And I Are True. I Responded “Absolutely!” He Replied Saying “Of Course! You’re The Nature Boy!” WOOOOO!”

In the picture, The Nature Boy looks like a child standing with Andre. Flair spent most of his time as an independent wrestler in NWA. He also wrestled many matches in Japan in the 80s.

Flair and Andre faced each other in various territory promotions back in the day. They didn’t get a chance to wrestle in WWE as by the time Flair came to WWE, Andre was wrestling in Japan and passed away in 1993 when Flair left WWE.

Ric Flair shares a story about André the Giant

Ric Flair after his retirement does sporadic appearances in WWE and has also started a YouTube show with Mark Madden. In one of the episodes, he talked about his time with Andre the Giant.

Flair claimed to have wrestled Andre in 500 tag team matches, and 100 battle royals and had only two singles matches. The Nature Boy shared the ring with Andre in the early 80s. Although, in the 70s, he had plenty of  tag team matches with Andre.

Both the legends got a chance to face each other in their respective career, but we never got to see them on the big stage. Andre and Flair could never cross paths in WWE or WCW, which would have been a delight to watch.

Other big men, Flair liked to work with, other than Andre

Flair had many matches with the big men from all generations in pro-wrestling he was part of. He loved his time working with Andre, however. When asked about in modern-day which big men he loved to wrestle, he said The Undertaker and The Big Show.

On his YouTube show, he stated that The Undertaker and The Big Show were the best big men as they could do the best in-ring work. Moreover, Flair praised The Undertaker to be more agile in the ring.
