Amid Dwayne Johnson’s Daughter’s First Victory, 19-Year-old Female Star Steals Spotlight After Sharing Emotional Moment With Shawn Michaels

The recent NXT episode was a great one for Ava Raine, the elder daughter of Dwayne Johnson. As the first-ever fourth-generational star Raine found victory in her match with her partner, The Dyad, against Ivy Nile and The Creed Brothers. However, while the 21-year-old got her first win, another NXT star two years younger than her had a moment with Shawn Michaels for her major win. 

The 19-year-old Thea Hail won the #1 Contender’s Women’s Battle Royal on the recent NXT episode. After the win, HBK had a moment with her for the biggest moment of her career until now.

After this victory, the Chase U member is now going to face Tiffany Straton for the NXT Women’s Championship. At 19 years old she is close to making history by winning the top price of NXT at such a young age.

After she won the Battle Royal, all the Chase U members came into the ring to celebrate the victory. Moreover, when she went backstage the Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative of the NXT, Shawn Michaels was present to congratulate her.

In the video shared on NXT’s social media handles, we can see Hail was still trying to process it. At the same time when she came behind the curtains, “The Showstopper” praised her, saying, “Good job, come on. Congratulations”. Hail replied, “Thank you so much, I appreciate it so much.

The Battle Royal wasn’t an easy one for her, as there were former champions and experienced stars in the match. Along with several NXT stars, Dana Brooke also made a return to be a part of the match.

Hail made her NXT debut on April 8, 2022, and post that she had a match with Ivy Nile which she lost. However, she started appearing with Chase U members Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward. The 19-year-old had her first NXT televised match on the August 9 2022 episode of NXT, where she lost to Arianna Grace. But one year down the line she is the number one contender for the NXT Women’s title.

During the match Cora Jade connected a couple of knees to Brooke, Hail came out of nowhere to pick the win as she eliminated both wrestlers. This was indeed a night for two upcoming young stars, Thea Hail and Ava Raine, as they picked major wins in their careers.

Will the fans support Ava Raine as they did Dwayne Johnson?

The Rock is one of the biggest stars in WWE. He is one of the reasons for making the Attitude Era a big success. However, there is always a question of will his daughter Simone Johnson reach the heights her father did.

‘The Final Girl’s’ is in the initial stages of a WWE career and surely, over time, she will gain more experience as a wrestler. There were several fans who criticized her wrestling abilities after her first win on NXT. Nevertheless, it’s her rookie year and some fans believe she will impress everyone in the coming years.
