Dwayne Johnson is one of the fittest stars in the industry and has peak physical fitness. However, his peak physique has also been called in for criticism several times by other public personas with MMA personality Joe Rogan being one of the recent ones. During The Liver King’s steroid controversy, Joe Rogan publicly called out Johnson for steroid usage. While Johnson has always declared himself to be natural and clean, his creatine intake might say the opposite.

As per reports by Everyday Health, a normal human being’s creatine intake depends on the muscle mass of their body. More muscle would mean the ability to store more creatine. The reports also claimed that while building muscle, one can take up to 20g of creatine per day. However, during the maintenance stage, the ideal should be 5 grams.

On the other hand, Dwayne Johnson has an impeccable physique and weighs 260 lbs. Whereas his daily creatine intake stands at just 5g as reported by Good Morning America. It may seem shocking how he was able to build and maintain such a physique with such low quantities of creatine.

Creatine is normally found in animal products and people on animal product diets often do not require external sources of creatine. And based on Johnson’s heavy animal-protein dependant diet, his low creatine intake could be justified.

Nevertheless, despite several allegations from Joe Rogan, no one has been able to prove Dwayne Johnson’s steroid usage.

Joe Rogan asked Dwayne Johnson to come clean on steroid usage

During late last year, The Liver King was found guilty of using steroids during his email leak. And at the same time, podcast host Joe Rogan ranted and asked Dwayne Johnson to come clean about his steroid use during one of his shows. The UFC commentator felt that Johnson owed his followers the truth.

However, Johnson ignored the rant and chose to stay silent about the allegations. Rogan had said, “The Rock should come clean right now.”

However, despite such allegations, Johnson’s steroid usage is yet to be proven, and still now it is believed Dwayne Johnson built his physique from a clean and natural diet.
