Amidst Recent Criticism for Spreading Lies, Hulk Hogan Hailed for “Greatest Wrestling Cameo” Ever in $1.9 Billion Movie Franchise – “It’s So Good”

Hulk Hogan recently appeared for an interview for Muscle & Fitness and shared several things from his pro wrestling days. His mention of a Wembley show in the 80s and claiming he brought Simon Cowell to the US created an uproar among fans. Many fans cited ample of his stories as lies and took to social media to discuss it. Irrespective of that, recently, a WWE legend hailed The Hulkster for having one of the greatest wrestling cameos in a $1.9 billion film franchise.

The film is none other than Rocky III which gave The Hulkster mainstream success early in his career. This WWE legend is a fan of the Rocky franchise and praised Hogan for his role.

‘The Immortal One’ is receiving several criticisms over his comments in the Muscle & Fitness magazine regarding his career. Jim Cornette even criticized him on his podcast over his comments on Simon Cowell. However, amidst that WWE Hall of Famer Edge recently praised Hulk Hogan for his role as Thunderlips in Rocky III.

A few days ago, ‘The Rated R Superstar’ appeared on the Brotherly Love Podcast. As the hosts were from Philadelphia they had a Rocky movie reference looking at part of Edge’s house which was visible in the video. The WWE legend shared he is a huge fan of the Rocky franchise and talked about Hogan’s Thunderlips.

Edge said, “Also, the greatest wrestling cameo Thunderlips (played by Hulk Hogan), the ultimate male vs. the ultimate meatball.”

He added, “And the Stallone, Rocky goes, ‘Hey he’s pretty big. How much do you think he eats? And then Mickey goes about 200 to two and a half pounds. Weighing 200 and two and a half pounds, ‘The Itallion Stallion’ Rocky Balboa. It’s so good.”

Judging by his excitement we can see that Edge is a fan of the $1.9 billion franchise. ‘The Ultimate Opportunist’ detailed a few dialogues that include Hogan’s character. Furthermore, the 11-time world champion also shared how much Rocky Balboa actor Sylvester Stallone inspires him.

Hardcore Rocky fans or movie fans will have an idea of how the first movie came into existence. Sly went all in for this movie and gave more effort so he could portray Rocky Balboa in a way that people get inspired.

Safe to say he was successful, as Edge says people were cheering for Rocky in theaters when it was released. Moreover, the WWE legend also claimed Stallone is a great example of betting on himself in life.
