Mick Foley is one of the most beloved WWE superstars of all time. Foley rose to prominence during the Attitude Era because of his aggressive and hardcore nature. Throughout his career, he has had several memorable matches with some of the top stars. He is often regarded as one of the best hardcore wrestlers.

Foley portrayed different maniacal gimmicks on screen, but in real life, is one of the most humble persons one can ever come across. During his time, he portrayed three different characters, Mankind, Dude Love, and Cactus Jack.

Regarded as a legend in the pro wrestling industry, Foley has maintained his legend-like status. His down-to-earth and humble nature has always helped in winning the hearts of his fans. Mankind aka Mick Foley has also wrestled for various wrestling promotions apart from WWE, such as Impact Wrestling and Ring of Honor.

Recently, Impact Wrestling announced that pro wrestler Joe Doering will take a leave from wrestling because of his brain cancer. Unfortunately, this will not be Doering’s first fight with cancer. He was previously diagnosed with brain cancer in 2016 and had to undergo surgery to remove it.

Mick Foley took to Twitter to announce that, his December 4th show at WC Social Club in West Chicago will act as a fundraiser for Impact wrestling star Doering. Foley announced that all his proceedings from the December 4th event will go towards Doering’s treatment.

Previously, on finding out about Joe Doering’s cancer, Foley had put out a status on Twitter. He sent out prayers and positive vibes for Joe Doering. Foley also mentioned in that Tweet, that all the income from his t-shirt sales would go toward Doering’s battle with cancer.

Foley’s warm gesture toward the Impact star won everyone’s heart. Even though Foley and Doering are not directly related, Foley went out of his way to help the man in need.

Mick Foley is trying desperately to treat Doering. Along with giving away the income from his t-shirt sales, Foley also announced a show whose proceedings would go towards Doering’s treatment.

Previously, when the 40-year-old was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2016, it was Mick Foley again who would come ahead trying to help the pro-wrestler. Foley set up a crowd-fund-raising campaign for Doering. He had posted on Twitter, requesting the fans to help him out.

The campaign had raised $24,485 out of its goal of $40,000. 286 donations had come in during this campaign, which took the total to the mentioned amount. Last time, Doering had a successful surgery and even returned to wrestling. Fans hope the same for Doering this time as well and wish him a speedy recovery.
