It might be the season of returns at WWE. Since the merger with TKO, fans have witnessed the returns of many stars such as Nia Jax, Randy Orton, and CM Punk. Now, just as fans are still trying to comprehend these returns, Damage CTRL’s Bayley posted a cryptic message on social media that has led fans to think that the return of Sasha Banks might be on the horizon.

Bayley believes the greatest is yet to come

Recently Mercedes Mone a.k.a Sasha Banks posted a clip of her training montage on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The clip showed Banks practicing different in-ring skills and tricks. SmackDown star Bayley decided to share this clip with the caption, “The greatest is yet to come”

While fans saw them as tag team partners, both Bayley and Banks were friends outside the ring as well. The duo was the first tag team to hold both a singles and a tag team championship title when Banks defeated Asuka to become the Raw Women’s Champion.

However, on the September 4 2020 episode of SmackDown, Bayley turned on Banks following a defeat against Jax and Baszler. Following this betrayal, Banks was still a part of WWE till December 2022, when she decided to part ways with the promotion.

Bayley’s message might just be a shout-out to her dear friend. However, fans seem to have their own theories regarding this special shout-out.

Will Sasha Banks come to save Bayley?

One of the most shocking turn of events has to be the inclusion of two new members in the Damage CTRL heel stable. Kairi Sane made her return at WWE Crown Jewel where she joined hands with the faction. On the road to Survivor Series, Asuka, too joined the stable. This has led to major speculations that Bayley might be betrayed by her beloved faction soon. One fan believes that it might be the five-time Raw Women’s Champion who will become her salvation.

Another fan is excited to hear Micheal Cole say the iconic “It’s Boss Time” as Banks might make her return to the promotion in the future.

As fans have been waiting to see her in action at WWE, few fans can’t contain their excitement to see Banks at the promotion.

It seems that while Banks hasn’t been at the promotion for years now, she still has plenty of loyal fans to hype her up.

One take at a time

For me pro wrestling has two things that I like the most, storytelling and fighting. Let?s just say movies are failing to keep me entertained in those departments. I grew up watching WWF and not WWE and any hardcore fan will agree that the two are not the same, but I love both iterations.
