The chairperson of WWE Vince McMahon has built the company as a global professional wrestling spot. It took him time, but along with the help from his wife Linda McMahon and other WWE officials; he brought the company to the top.

Recently, news began to circulate that Vince McMahon was under investigation. It was for the allegations about him paying $3 million to a former employee with whom he had previously had an affair. 

After the allegations floating around about Vince McMahon, there are more rumors about him. The rumors regarding Mr. McMahon and Linda McMahon are that they are no longer staying together. Dave Meltzer on his Wrestling Observer Radio shared his thoughts on this matter.

Meltzer while commenting on Vince and Linda McMahon’s relationship, which is for over 50 years, they are still married they are no longer together. He said, “Technically they’re married. I mean, they haven’t been together in a long, long time though.” (H/T Inside the Ropes Wrestling).

Another speculation Meltzer made was if Stephanie McMahon knew about this settlement. He thinks there might be a possibility for this investigation and Stephanie McMahon taking a leave of absence to be connected.

Previously, the acknowledgement of Vince McMahon having engaged in extra-marital affairs is made by the public. However, the issue has now once again come to the front in the public. Despite all the accusations against him, Vince McMahon, along with John Laurinaitis, will attend the June 17th taping for Friday Night SmackDown as normal.

Salary of Vince McMahon in WWE

Earlier in March this year, WWE reported the highest profits earning in history in 2021. In fact, it was one reason Vince McMahon didn’t want to change anything about the program despite fan complaints. 

However, released statements also showed the salary of the chairperson of WWE. The statement showed as of 2021 Vince McMahon’s salary from WWE was set at $1.4 Million. Coming to 2022, they have increased it to $2 Million per annum.

Wrestling reporter Brandon Thruston shared the same on his Twitter. He said, “WWE’s board of directors has given Vince McMahon and Nick Khan raises. Vince’s salary for 2022 will be $2.0M. In 2021, it was $1.4M. If I understand right, Nick’s second equity grant (part of his sign-on agreement), disclosed prior as $9M, increases by $7M, to $16M.”

Even though he is a millionaire, his salary in WWE is considerably low. However, he is the largest stockholder of WWE and also earns via other revenue streams set up. In fact, as the largest stockholder, Vince McMahon receives a major fraction of the profits.
