His debut with The Bloodline is still fresh in fans’ minds. Along with the WWE Draft, some big announcements were made. The WWE Draft did make it clear that The Bloodline was not leaving SmackDown. On the Blue Brand, the group is set to establish dominance since their loss at WrestleMania XL.

Prior to the main event, Nick Aldis was interviewed backstage, and he made some announcements. These were for matches for Backlash taking place on May 5. He announced two matches: Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Bayley for the WWE Women’s title. The second was Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. On the show, Owens went after Tonga after what happened to him last week. Orton came out to help Owens, which led to the match being issued. Both men are former WWE Champions, and this will be a big rub for the newest member of The Bloodline.

A week after his debut on the April 26 episode of SmackDown, Tonga went after Owens. With no explanation as to why this feud was set, The MFT left Owens in a pool of his own blood. To prevent that from happening again, Orton got involved on SmackDown. This resulted in the match being set up. This will be the first match for the new Bloodline. It will also be the first match where Orton goes after the Bloodline since his return at SurviorSeries. Fans have speculated that Jacob Fatu might be showing up at that PLE to assist The Bloodline.

Tonight’s WWE Draft made one thing clear: The Bloodline is staying on the Blue Brand, and Orton and Owens are their first target. Soon they will be after Cody Rhodes, who is also on SmackDown. With Jey Uso being on RAW, it will be interesting to see who comes to aid The American Nightmare. Fans speculate that this will be the opening for Roman Reigns once he returns. Since his name was withdrawn from the Draft, he will remain on SmackDown, where he might be the only help Rhodes has. What did you think of the match announcement? Tell us in the comments.
