WWE is almost always up for introducing new characters. And it looks like the promotion has run out of wrestlers. We’re saying this because of what recently happened on Monday Night Raw. Fans saw Cody Rhodes playing with his four-legged furry friend named Pharaoh. It is not a new sight to see superstars bringing domesticated animals to the arena to hype up their entrance.

However, to see ‘man’s best friend’ being introduced to the audience is a wholesome sight to capture. Right after WWE revealed Pharaoh in a backstage promo, fans started tweeting about calling Brandi Rhodes on the scene too. But she had already thought of a reply to give to fans.

On Monday Night Raw this week, Cody Rhodes appeared to interrupt Rhea Ripley in a segment. Following that, he went backstage to feature in a promo. There, fans caught him playing with his furry friend ‘Pharaoh’ and gave him a virtual warm welcome too. Wrestling fans would recognize Rhodes’ companion from his days in AEW.

Despite how much of a ‘good boy’ the white husky was, fans longed for more of Rhodes’ family to appear. And ultimately called for Brandi Rhodes to also appear in one of The American Nightmare’s segments.

Y’all calling on me when Pharaoh is RIGHT THERE,” Brandi Rhodes tweeted on her official account. While some fans would deem this as ‘funny’, others could look at it as ‘disappointing’ depending upon how badly they wanted Rhodes’ wife to appear in one of his segments.

In any case, it appears Brandi Rhodes won’t be appearing anytime soon to support her husband on-site. However, considering the number of potential storylines WWE might have in store for ‘The American Nightmare’, there could be room to include her somewhere, after all.

In what storyline could we see Cody Rhodes next?

The feud between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar started when The Beast assaulted Rhodes out of nowhere in a random episode. This built up to a match between the two at Backlash 2023, where Lesnar lost. The tables turned around for good when he broke Rhodes’ arm and defeated him at the Night of Champions 2023. And according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE could be going forward with Rhodes’s kayfabe broken arm.

Moreover, Rhodes is also currently involved in a feud The Judgement Day and will face Dominik Mysterio at Money in the Bank this weekend in London. With Rhea Ripley being a force in the heel faction, Brandi Rhodes could appear some time to even the playfield.

So, Brandi Rhodes has a lot of opportunities in front of her. It could be that WWE is saving her appearance for the best moment possible.
