The last time that Logan Paul renewed his WWE contract was in April 2023, following both his birthday and WrestleMania. He took to his social media to upload a picture of himself alongside the CCO of WWE, which was photoshopped. However, the renewed contract was reportedly signed in real life despite the fake picture. This year, Paul used a video to update his fans rather than a fake picture.

In a recent episode of his podcast Impaulsive, Paul was chatting with John Cena. Inevitably, he started talking about Cena’s former nemesis, The Rock, and his recent return on Monday Night Raw. While talking, Paul made a joke about whether Cena thinks that Johnson wrote down the line for his promo on his wrist yet again.

This joke was risky in the first place, but the events that unfolded made it even riskier. ‘The Rock’ was announced to be the latest board member for the parent company TKO, which only has 12 members in total, giving him significant power over all the decisions. Hence, Paul was afraid that he might get ‘fired’ for his joke.
