During his first run, he became the true ‘Next Big Thing’ and worked with names such as Rob Van Dam, Hulk Hogan, The Rock, etc. Lesnar rose through the ranks at an accelerated pace through great matches, comedic segments, and even became one of the youngest WWE Champions in the company’s history.

However, after working with WWE for two years, The Beast left the company in 2004. One of the reasons he decided to leave was to pursue a career in football. However, apparently dropping the title to Eddie Guerrero played a role in his 2004 departure as well.

When his football career didn’t take off, The Beast went to Japan, dabbled in the UFC, and then came back to WWE.

Brock Lesnar returned to WWE in 2012

When The Beast came back to WWE in 2012, John Cena had taken over as the biggest WWE Superstar. At this point, it was important for him to do something that would help him regain the top superstar position. He did that and feuded with Triple H and CM Punk throughout 2013 before ending The Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak at WrestleMania 30.

This helped him steal the spotlight once again. Unfortunately, after this, his matches and stories became monotonous.

Every major superstar, such as Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, and others, was taking him on and conquering him. Moreover, he wasn’t present at all the shows, and even when he was present, he didn’t cut too many backstage segments.

This time he left WWE after WrestleMania 36, where he dropped the title to Drew McIntyre.

The Beast made a massive return at SummerSlam 2021

Lesnar returned at SummerSlam 2021 right after the main event between Roman Reigns and John Cena. This time, he came back as a babyface free agent!

Currently, he has a new look, and it features his ponytail. This is different from anything the WWE Universe has seen before. Next, he is wearing whatever he wants. Whether it’s a sleeveless flannel shirt or overalls, The Beast does not care.

Finally, he’s cutting more segments than ever, interacting with fans, and using all the freedom he has to the maximum limit. Moreover, he returned at SummerSlam 2021 and started a feud with the top heel in WWE at the moment, Roman Reigns.

This storyline between Reigns and Lesnar has been interesting to watch as they battled over Paul Heyman, the WWE Universal Championship, and their place within the WWE Universe.
