Lesnar has been in the business long enough to add a huge blend of experience to his already superhuman abilities. Lesnar found his talisman in Paul Heyman. Managing the star, Heyman was able to turn Brock into a global star. However, prior to being The Beast Incarnate, Lesnar indeed had a humble beginning.

Brock Lesnar- Early Life

The 47-year-old Lesnar was born in Webstar, South Dakota. He was brought up at his parent’s dairy farm. Lesnar joined the National Army Guard at 17 years of age but was later discharged due to his color-blindness. He would also have a brief stint working at a construction company. During his school life, Lesnar played football and wrestling.

In his senior year, he was placed third in the State Championships. During his time at Bismarck State College in 1997, he was placed 5th in the 275 lb division of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). In 1998, his sophomore year, he won the 275 lb championship. In 2000, he won NCAA Division 1. He also maintained an overall record of 106-5 during the four years of his college.

Brock Lesnar-Jon Jones Beef

Both Brock Lesnar and Jon Jones are two of the most fiercest fighters inside the octagon. However, fans were never able to witness them battling it out against each other. Back in 2011, things took a different route when both Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar were on their rise. As Jones defeated Ryan Bader and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, rumors began of him facing Brock Lesnar.

 Joes was a light-heavyweight, Brock Lesnar was a heavyweight. However, Jones stood tall from Lesnar at 6’4” whereas Lesnar is 6’3”. Also, Jones had the UFC-record 84.5-inch reach whereas Brock had an 81-inch reach.

In addition, Jones brought with him a wrestling history similar to what Lesnar had. But, Lesnar had the upper hand of experience himself, which the then 23-year-old Jon Jones lacked. Although Jones had a height, and reach advantage, Lesnar had a pure size, and sheer strength advantage with himself. 

However, their feud never played out, and fans still wonder who would have won between the two. Both upcoming stars in the UFC then, one had the height advantage, while the other was about pure brute strength. 

Jon Jones always wanted to fight Lesnar, but their timings never aligned. As Jones took a hiatus from MMA to become a heavyweight, Lesnar would make the move back to WWE, where he rose to the top. If again opportunity strikes, fans will always want to see how their feud plays out.

Brock Lesnar UFC Career

Apart from his WWE career, he also had a run with UFC. At UFC, Brock Lesnar was a beast, winning fights, and smashing his opponents. However, his debut fight would not go as planned. Lesnar would enter UFC on a one-fight contract in 2008 and fought Frank Mir in a losing bout.

Despite a loss in his debut, he would be offered a new contract, and would fight Heath Herring, and win against him. Next, he would defeat Randy Couture for the UFC Heavyweight Championship, and win the title. Soon after, Lesnar again went into battle with Frank Mir, but this time won against him. After a few title defenses, Lesnar would lose his belt to Cain Velasquez.

He would then take a hiatus to recover from his battle with diverticulitis. However, soon he made another return but lost to Alistair Overeem after several massive body shots, and a liver kick. Lesnar would then announce his first UFC retirement in 2011. Again in 2016, Brock Lesnar would make his comeback to UFC for a fight against Mark Hunt, and win. But the decision would later be reversed after Lesnar breached anti-doping policies.

This would however mark the end of Lesnar’s career in UFC, and he would make a complete switch to WWE.

Brock Lesnar WrestleMania Record

The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar has one of the most iconic WrestleMania records to his name. At WrestleMania 30, Lesnar became the first person to defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania to leave the entire stadium shocked.

Lesnar made his WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania XIX in the year 2003 against Kurt Angle and defeated him to win the WWE Championship. At WrestleMania XX in 2004, Lesnar would go against Goldberg but in a losing effort. He would then go on a hiatus, and return 8 eight years later. 

At WrestleMania 29, Lesnar went against Triple H, but The Game would defeat Lesnar. Next came WrestleMania 30, when he created history and defeated The Undertaker. At WrestleMania 31, Lesnar’s WWE championship would be snatched away from him, after Seth Rollins performed the heist of the century, and cashed in his Money In The Bank contract during Roman Reigns’ battle against Lesnar in the main event.

WrestleMania 32 saw Dean Ambrose aka Jon Moxley battle Lesnar in a No Holds Barred match, where The Beast Incarnate would come out as the winner. WrestleMania 33 saw Brock Lesnar face Goldberg in their WrestleMania rematch, which Lesnar would win this time. 

At WrestleMania 34 Brock Lesnar defeated Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship. And, in the next year, he would be defeated by Seth Rollins this time at WrestleMania 35 to lose the Universal title. WrestleMania 36 saw Lesnar being defeated by Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship. He would then not feature for the next two WrestleManias, and make his comeback at WrestleMania 38, where he would again be defeated by Roman Reigns to unify the WWE and Universal Championship. And, at WrestleMania 39, he would defeat Omos to register another win at ‘Mania. 

Brock Lesnar has had 11 matches at WrestleMania with a 5-6 win-loss record.

Being worth $25 million, and having a salary of $12 million per annum comes with its own perks. Lesnar is arguably one of the highest-earning sports entertainment personalities and has a long list of cars in his name.

Lesnar owns a 1978 custom Dodge Power Wagon worth $26,000. He also owns a Jeep Wrangler worth $45,000.

Lesnar has a massive list of cars and mostly consisting of custom-built cars and extreme ones. His Chevrolet Suburban Premier is valued at $62,000. His two other cars are RAM 1500 TRX and Cadillac Escalade.

Brock Lesnar belongs to the legendary OVW 2002 class, which also comprised names such as Randy Orton, John Cena, and Batista. After making his debut for WWE in 2002, he would be shot to the top owing to his physique, and charisma. Within a few months of his debut, Lesnar would capture the WWE Championship. During his early years in WWE, Lesnar would be involved in a feud with several top personalities such as Kurt Angle, Big Show, and Goldberg. However, after his WrestleMania loss against Goldberg, he would go on a hiatus.

After his hiatus from WWE, Lesnar gave a try at the NFL. He joined the training leagues and soon caught wind of the scouts. He was then called up for trials. However, a short while before the trials, Lesnar met with a big motorcycle accident, which injured him badly. Lesnar suffered a groin injury during the accident and it would prove to be the poison to his NFL career as it kept acting up. Lesnar was released from the Minnesota Vikings just half a season after he had joined.

In 2008, he would make his debut for UFC, and despite a debut loss he would go on to win his next high-profile matches, and eventually the UFC World Heavyweight Championship. However, his struggles with diverticulitis led him to retire from the sport in 2011.

In 2014 at WrestleMania Lesnar would shock the world, when he brought an end to The Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak and turned it to 21-1. One of the most iconic moments in wrestling history, it still remains a turning point in Lesnar’s career.

After a few years at WWE, Lesnar would again return to UFC 2016 to fight Mark Hunt. Despite defeating Hunt, the decision would later be overturned after Lesnar was found breaching anti-doping policies. This would lead to his second and final retirement from the sport.

A career with several iconic moments, two other moments include Lesnar’s long-lasting rivalry against Roman Reigns which finally came to an end at SummerSlam 2022, but started from WrestleMania 31. The two had a close encounter at WrestleMania 34 when Reigns almost defeated Lesnar, but the latter would fight and come out on top. Lesnar’s fight against Randy Orton at SummerSlam 2016 was also brutal, and raised a lot of questions.
