Although Bo Dallas hasn’t been seen in a WWE ring since 2019, he played the character of Uncle Howdy in the story that Bray Wyatt brought to life in his heyday. Unfortunately, the storyline didn’t realize its full potential following Wyatt’s untimely death at the age of 36.

However, the Stamford-based promotion has teased the return of Uncle Howdy multiple times during WWE programming. And now we may have a hint as to who might be the new Uncle Howdy! And no, we don’t think it’s Bo Dallas. But instead, his stablemate from NXT.

During night 2 of NXT Spring Breakin, the WWE played a vignette that featured a creepy image of an empty road that further led to a mysterious house. A message accompanied the eerie vignette which read, “They were broken. I didn’t fix them, I accepted them.” It was further followed by “THEY OPENED THE DOOR” and “WE CAN BE A FAMILY”. This has further sparked excitement in fans as they believe that it will be the return of Uncle Howdy. However, a Twitter user noticed that the silhouette in the vignette suggested that this time NXT’s Joe Gacy could assume the role! He tweeted a picture of the vignette with the caption, “Yoooo could this be Joe Gacy?! (Uncle Howdy teaser btw) #WWENXT

Speculation suggests that Dallas will assume the role of Uncle Howdy and become the leader figure of a new faction. It won’t be the first time that Gacy has belonged to a dark and cult-like faction. Back in 2022, Gacy introduced the former members of Grizzled Young Veterans as the members of his new team known as The Dyad. Those formerly known as Zack Gibson and James Drake later became known as Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid. So it would be interesting to see Gacy navigate his way through a mysterious and dark faction as a member rather than a leader.

And the eerie vignette isn’t the first hint after all, as the WWE earlier previewed QR codes that hinted at the return of Dallas as well as the Wyatt family.

A few weeks ago on RAW, before the show aired, a weird little musical break came to light. Some people who were present at the Wells Fargo Center recorded the moment. Soon after, it invoked comparisons to that of the teaser that Bray Wyatt released before his return to WWE in 2022. And that’s not all. During the episode’s airing, Bronson Reed’s entrance witnessed a small connection glitch. At that moment, the word “hello” appeared on the screen.

Sean Ross Sapp reported that the teaser had to do with the return of Bo Dallas to WWE. Dallas had already hinted that he was going to return during the broadcast of the Bray Wyatt documentary that premiered on Peacock. Everything seemed to indicate that Dallas would continue the Universe that Bray Wyatt built on screen.
