Cody Rhodes Threatens Dwayne Johnson & Wins Seth Rollins Support, LA Knight Qualifies for Elimination Chamber: WWE RAW 2/12 Results, Recap & Highlights

The fans highly anticipated the first WWE RAW episode after the explosive WrestleMania XL Kickoff event. Everyone was waiting to see what Cody Rhodes had to say about the final segment of the event. With qualifying matches and tag team action on the show, fans were in for a thrill ride. Coming live from the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, here are the results of everything that went down on the show.

Imperium with Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci vs. Jey Uso, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods

The first match of the night was a six-man tag team match. Imperium and The New Day have been butting heads for weeks now. The match started with Imperium keeping Kingston isolated. Despite getting a tag into Woods, Kingston got most of the beating in this match. Once ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso got the hot tag, he went straight for The Ring General. After a superkick to whoever wasn’t on his team, Gunther bailed out of the ring. This resulted in a three-man 1D on Vinci. Following this was Jey flying off the top rope for the pinfall victory.

Video package: We get a video highlight package of the final segment from the WrestleMania XL Kickoff event.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Bobby Lashley vs. “Big” Bronson Reed

Winner: Bobby Lashley

The big men of Monday Night RAW squared off for a place in the Elimination Chamber. While both controlled the match, Lashley displayed a massive feat of strength with a spine buster. However, this was met with a senton by Reed. As Reed approached the top rope, Lashley cut him off with a massive bodyslam and a spear for the pinfall victory. Lashley earned his spot in the Men’s Elimination Chamber 2024.

Backstage interview: We see Sami Zayn talking about his current road ahead. Zayn talks about not giving up on himself and showing his true self in the ring tonight. Shinsuke Nakamura’s video package interrupts, taunting Zayn for their match.

In-ring segment: Cody Rhodes came out to the ring to talk about the aftermath of being slapped by Dwayne Johnson at the WWE WrestleMania XL Kickoff show. He talked about how he loved Johnson and looked up to him while the arena booed. Rhodes went on to talk about finishing his story at WrestleMania 40. This led to Seth Rollins coming out to the ring.

Before Rollins could say anything, Rhodes thanked him for having his back at the event. Rollins accepted it and asked Rhodes how he planned on dealing with the Samoan family. Rollins gave Rhodes a bit of insight into Reigns as the two were in the SHIELD together. Near the end, Rollins even claimed to be Rhodes’ shield in his feud with The Bloodline and Johnson.

Backstage segment: The New Day and Jey Uso celebrate their victory against Imperium. Jey talked about his title shot and dethroning Gunther as the Intercontinental Champion.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Liv Morgan vs. Zoey Stark

Winner: Liv Morgan

Morgan wasted no time trying to get the schoolboy to roll up on Stark. Both women kept their control over the match. Equally matched, both of them hit each other with some great near-finishers. However, the match ended with Morgan hitting Oblivion for the pinfall. Morgan earned her spot in the women’s Elimination Chamber match.

Backstage segment: Ahead of his match, R-Truth comes across his opponent, JD McDonagh. He claims that McDonagh is not part of the Judgment Day. Damian Priest gets in his face and tells him he’s not part of the Judgment Day.

Backstage segment: R-Truth is seen calling The Miz, asking him to get to the arena. However, Adam Pearce was seen getting annoyed that Truth wasn’t out for his match.

JD McDonagh vs. R-Truth

Winner: JD McDonagh

The match started with Truth showing how athletic he still is. Pulling moves out of his idol, John Cena’s playbook, Truth kept the match in his control. Despite pulling out all the moves that Cena is known for, McDonagh was able to hit the Devil Inside for the pinfall win.

Post-match: After winning the match, the entire Judgment Day group assaulted Truth as Priest claimed they would do. DIY showed up to aid Truth with steel chairs as Judgment Day exited the ring.

Backstage segment: Rhodes is seen with Sami Zayn, telling him he believes in him. He also reminds Zayn that the fans believe in him.

In-ring segment: Becky Lynch comes out to talk about her upcoming match at the Elimination Chamber. She recalls all the love and admiration she got from the fans. She also tearfully recalls all the sacrifices she made by being who she is in the WWE. Nia Jax comes out to commend Lynch for being a great mother. However, Jax is attacked by Rhea Ripley. Jax is taken out, and Ripley and Lynch stare at each other.

Backstage interview: Drew McIntyre, who claims he’s the underdog, is interviewed backstage. He informs Rhodes that he should get out of their upcoming match next week. McIntyre claims that Rhodes will face the same treatment as Punk faced, which will make him miss WrestleMania.

Backstage segment: R-Truth thanks DIY for saving him. They claim that The Miz told them he may need some help with the Judgment Day. Truth mixes up DIY for DX and thanks them for their help.

Backstage interview: Drew McIntyre, who claims he’s the underdog, is interviewed backstage. He informs Rhodes that he should get out of their upcoming match next week. McIntyre claims that he will do to Rhodes what he did to Punk and make him miss WrestleMania.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Ivar vs. LA Knight

Winner: LA Knight

Despite the physical difference between the two men, Knight was able to hold his own against the Viking Warrior. Knight is kept on the defense in the second half of the match. Avoiding a moonsault from Ivar allowed Knight to hit the BFT for the pinfall win. LA Knight earns his spot in the Elimination Chamber match.

Backstage segment: As Zayn makes his way to the ring, he is interrupted by McIntyre, who tells him to stay out of his way. Zayn just makes his way to the ring.

Main Event: Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

Both started the match going at each other. While staying calculated and keeping their distance at times, the hits were hard. Nakamura kept the heel smile throughout the match. Nakamura pulled out some vintage moves to keep Zayn down. The match was filled with near-falls. Zayn, who needed a win, gave it his all throughout the match, with the fans on his side. Zayn pulls out his vintage move of flying off the top rope to take out Nakamura; Zayn has some breathing room.

However, Nakamura was able to pick up the lead once more. After a clean Blue Thunder Bomb, Zayn could still not pick up the three-count. Unfortunately, after a distraction from McIntyre, Nakamura was able to pick up the win!

Post-match: McIntyre started a beat down on Zayn, only for Rhodes to come out for the assist. Rhodes was able to take out both Nakamura and McIntyre.
