R Truth might not be able to punch a ticket to Judgement Day, but he can at least settle scores with his arch-nemesis in the recent past, JD McDonagh.

While doing that at tonight’s Raw from the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, WWE’s resident rapping superstar paid a heartfelt tribute to none other than his childhood idol, John Cena.

R Truth added John Cena element in his failed attempt to take out JD McDonagh 

Enough grudges have been built up between the present and aspiring Judgment Day stars since Truth cost McDonagh’s match against The Miz last week. To sort things out for one last time, the duo came out to face each other in the eyes. Truth showed his utter dominance and his incredible athletic prowess at the start of the match with a series of splashes. But what particularly caught our eyeballs was his delivery of the Attitude Adjustment, the iconic John Cena move to label his opponent.

However, Truth couldn’t keep the momentum till the end, submitting to McDonagh’s Devlin side.

Moving ahead, Truth closely escaped an assualt tonight with the help of #DIY

DIY saved R Truth honor in the face of an brutal Judgement Day demolishment

For the past couple of weeks, the comedic wrestler has struggled to get into The Judgment Day. This has culminated into some hilarious moments and segments. But at the same time, it brought trouble for Truth as he had to recive constant blows from the present Judgement Day stars who don’t want him in the faction. However, that didn’t let the the 52 year old’s spirit down. He attracted the same peril tonight with Damian Priest and crew running into him backstage.

This came as an abrupt threat to Truth who tried to defend calling The Miz for help, but he wasn’t seen anywhere in the ringside. Just at that point in time, DIY members Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa rushed to the ring with chairs to ward off Priest and save R-Truth from the merciless attack.

It seemed R-Truth  a feud between Damian Priest and co. and the self-imagined Judgement Day star is brewing.  The Miz̄ can also be vie for the tag titles with R-Truth.

We need to wait more to be clear on how things will pan out in the future.
