The WWE WrestleMania XL Kickoff show laid the groundwork for the road to WrestleMania 40. While this should have been only for Roman Reigns, Dwayne Johnson, and Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins also found himself involved in it. The WWE WrestleMania 40 Trailer also hinted at even more involvement by Rollins.

This WWE RAW episode solidified something that fans have been speculating for the past few days, and it makes the road to WrestleMania even more exciting.

Seth Rollins confirms being on Cody Rhodes’ side against The Bloodline

The feud between Rhodes and The Bloodline has reached a boiling point with the inclusion of Dwayne Johnson in the mix. Prior it was believed that Johnson would be facing Reigns to stop his tyrant run. However, now it seems like a power struggle to see who sits at The Head of the Table.

As Cody Rhodes took to the ring to talk about what happened at the Kickoff event, Rollins also came down. Rhodes thanked Rollins for having his back against Johnson and Reigns at the event. While Rollins accepted the ‘Thank you,’ he did ask Rhodes for his upcoming plan of action against the Samoan family.

“I’m Going to Hit You Back”: Cody Rhodes Challenges Dwayne Johnson After “Cry Babies” Jab at WrestleMania 40 Kickoff

As Rhodes contemplated how to deal with the two cousins, Rollins gave a bit of insight into The Tribal Chief. He claimed that Reigns was now a monster and Johnson was selfish. He ended his speech with, “There is only one man on earth who is uniquely suited to be your shield.” This was Rollins referring to himself. This may be the WWE’s way of hinting at a tag team match with all four individuals ahead of Mania.

Later on in the night, Seth Rollins’ wife, Becky Lynch, came to the ring. She got emotional when talking about her upcoming match at Elimination Chamber and the chance to face Rhea Ripley at Mania. Lynch talked about all the sacrifices she made as a WWE star regarding her life as a mother.

During this time, she mentioned, “Have to explain to my daughter why her daddy wants to fight Maui.” While this could reference Rollins and Johnson squaring up at the Kickoff show, there could be something more.
