For the most part, Brandi has told the world that she decided to not get into the wrestling business again despite the journey being a good one. But now, she has revealed that it wasn’t as pleasant as it seemed.

In a recent tweet, the Royal Rumble winner’s wife revealed that her working days in the wrestling industry weren’t all good. Brandi Rhodes confessed that some people made her professional life harder than it had to be.

The retired female wrestler tweeted, “There were a handful of legit idiots who made my time in wrestling harder than it needed to be. But when I hear of the cold dishes of karma they’ve been served, it gives me absolutely no pleasure. (This was me giving my daughter an example of what a bold-faced lie is).”
Her tweet suggests that someone who used to torment her has received their fair share of ‘karma’. Wittingly, Rhodes mentioned how she is glad that this happened, and she takes pleasure in this.
Brandi Rhodes didn’t elaborate on what and who made her work life ‘harder’ but since AEW was her last workplace, she could be pointing toward the same. But even apart from that, Rhodes could also be referencing her time in WWE while talking about her difficult times. And this may be the reason why she didn’t return to the promotion when her husband did.

Despite the fact that there were troubles in her professional life, Brandi Rhodes didn’t solely retire because of this reason. There were other factors contributing to her final decision to call off her career. But to date, she wishes that she could work alongside her husband, like Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.

Brandi Rhodes couldn’t work out the balance between her professional and personal life
During the red carpet of Cody Rhodes’ documentary several months back, Brandi was featured in an interview with Chris Van Vliet. While talking to the former wrestler, Chris asked about why Brandi decided to leave her job altogether rather than apply for a post apart from wrestling. While talking, she revealed that she only wanted to do it the ‘Seth-Becky way’.

However, things didn’t work out for Mr. and Mrs. Rhodes, and Brandi decided to stay home for her family. Now, she has revealed that there was more than what met the eye while she was still working and she seems relieved after leaving the wrestling industry.
