Rhodes belongs to the legendary Rhodes wrestling family and is the son of Dusty Rhodes.

Back in the 1980s, wrestling fans saw Dusty Rhodes being involved in one of the greatest feuds of all time against The Nature Boy Ric Flair. Recently, WWE scrapped plans of pitching such a rivalry.
